From the Triodion

Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. In Your mercy visit my soul and take away the burden of my transgressions, O You who alone are the Lover of mankind.

You are glorified, O Christ our God, in the memory of your saints; through their intercession, send down your great mercy upon us all.

O Theokokos, our hope and our protection, we do not fear the plotting of the Enemy, for you are the protectress of our souls.

From the Aposticha, Vespers, Saturday of the Second Week of Lent

You are the only Immortal One, O Creator, and Maker of mankind. we are mortals: out of the earth we are fashioned and to the same earth we shall return, as You have said and ordered, O my Maker: Dust you are, you said, and to dust you shall return. We all go down to the dust and we sing to You: Alleluia!
